When searching Google for things like “Online Custom Jewelry” or “”your town”, Custom Jewelry Stores” you will no doubt find all of the big box jewelry stores and usual suspects at the top of the list. You will also see  numerous local stores that are housed in expensive malls and shops that add a ton of costs to their overhead.  They are at the top of the list, because they pay to be.  Not because they make beautiful custom jewelry creations.  Not because they are experts.  And not because they have the best reviews.  It is simply because they outspend everyone else due to their deep pockets resulting from overcharging their customers.

We love this Art Deco Engagement Ring for various reasons.  We have both prong and bezel set stones accenting the 6.5mm center stone.  It is shown as a round, but any size or shape could be used.  Adorning the accents is milgrain, giving the ring an elegant flare.  As with all of our designs, they are bale to be modified or used to create a new ring.

We had a customer who loved butterflies and skulls.  So, we made the abdomen of the butterfly into a skull!  We can create custom pendants in single pieces up to 2.5 inches inches wide in single pieces. We can cast in Bronze, Brass, Copper, Sterling or Argentium Silver, white, yellow, or rose Gold, Palladium or Platinum.   Larger pieces can be created by assembling smaller pieces though.

Not All Online Custom Jewelry Is Created Equal

Never mind all of that.  None of those jewelers even actually make custom jewelry.  Some might offer to put a different stone in a ring.  Or change a high polish to a brushed finish.  But we call that customization.  It isn’t custom jewelry.  There are also some that DO make custom jewelry, but they are not actually designing the piece.  They farm the design work out to a CAD house.   We know, because we used to do it.

This is one of our Sculptural Engagement Ring designs that we love.  The center stone is secured by 6 prongs that are accented with 1mm stones.  If you don’t like 6 prongs, or don’t want the accents on the prongs, we can change that.  The shank is an alternation of diamond accents and knife edged milgrain. If you wanted more stones, we could probably add 2-4 more.  We could also remove stones if you wanted a solitaire.

While there is nothing wrong with this, we found it problematic for a couple of reasons.  First, specifics and details get lost in the submission from custom to jeweler to designer.  Or, just in the submission from us to the designer.  We found that many times, they ignored requests or tried to change what we wanted because it was difficult.  Second, it added to the cost with another hand in the pot.  We like to keep costs as low as possible.  Third, we would submit a revision that took 10 minutes, yet we might not get it back for a day or two.  This added to much time to the entire process.

 We can create Custom Diamond Hip Hop Necklace designs in a single piece up to 3 inches wide or tall in Sterling or Argentium Silver, white, yellow, or rose Gold, Palladium or Platinum.  If you wanted something larger, it would have to be done in 2 pieces and soldered together.  We have hundreds of fonts to use for your words, but we can always download ones that we don’t have.

This custom sunflower necklace had a 5mm Black diamond in the center and 5x3mm pear shaped Citrines. The accents were diamonds.  This piece was 1.25 inches tall and wide, so at this size the only stone options besides the pear shapes are diamonds and cz, but with a larger pendant, it would open other stone options up.

Online Custom Jewelry – It’s All We Do

This Sapphire 3 Stone Engagement Ring is a stunning take on an old classic.  There  are diamond accents on both the sides and top of the ring.  What we like about this one is how the prongs are formed and they you can see through the ring.

This Half Moon 3 Stone Engagement Ring is something you would never find in the mall or at a chain store.  Half moons are just not popular enough for them to carry.  However, we will make custom engagement rings with any shape of stone you want.  This one has a 7mm round center stone.  The side stones are 5×3.5mm half moons.  They are set in an elegant trellis setting The band has 6, 2mm round stones in French pave settings.  Of course all of these sizes can be played with.
